The WMC
The Worcester Mountaineering Club is a collection of around 50 local mountaineers, climbers, and walkers who all share a passion for adventure and the outdoors.
Worcester Mountaineering Club members regularly organise trips in the UK, Europe and beyond with the emphasis on adventure, enjoyment and a good pub. From cragging on Gritstone and ice climbing in Norway to Munro bagging in Scotland and airy alpine adventures… there is definitely something for everyone. We share our events in our calendar with our neighbouring Bromsgrove and Redditch Club.
We can offer training through Martley Climbing Wall and the Worcestershire County Council Llanrug Outdoor Centre but most importantly offer the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are passionate about high places.
If you are 18+ then we would love to hear from you.
We meet at The Albion, at the bottom of Bath Road in Worcester, from 9pm on the first and third Thursday of every month. Many of the members attend Martley Wall in Worcester regularly.
Contact John Rye or Pam Loftus to arrange a meeting.
